Super Mom Stakes Out Her Son's Escaped Frog, Luring Him Back to Safety Using Nothing But Crickets, Patience, and Maternal Perseverance

Kids get really attached to their pets. Although giving your kid a pet can be enriching and exciting for them, it comes with the double edged sword of worrying about the inevitable moment you'll have to explain mortality to your child. Well, little Billy, Mr. Goldfish went to take a nap forever...? There's no easy way to do it, so most parents try to avoid any pet hazards at all costs. However, there are some things that are out of every parent's control and when it comes to particularly unpredictable pets, like a bouncing exotic frog, things can get a little dicey when you're just trying to keep the dang thing alive.
One determined mom recently posted about her turmoil when her son's tree frog got loose in the house. With this, she won 'Mom of the Year' because she was so intent on saving her son's frog, she sat in a closet for almost 3 hours to stake him out.
